Antoine Tavaglione - Toronto Show & New Prints!

Antoine Tavaglione is a growing name in the pop-art scene. He recently finished a campaign with 'Ford' (which is currently up at Berri Metro in Montreal, see pics below), and now has a solo show up in Toronto until the end of June (open weekends and weekdays by appointment, 431 Roncesvalles Ave). Station 16 created 12 new prints with Antoine for his Toronto debut, and now we're happy to announce the release of two of these prints for our online site!


Launching today is the "TAVA Skull", a 4-colour 14 edition, silkscreen print with sugar dust (on heavy Crane's Lettra 100% cotton paper). As well as 3 colour-combo "Double C's" Print, in WHITE, PINK and BLACK backgrounds (also on Crane's Lettra paper).  



MassivArt Chromatic 2013 - this weekend!

This weekend is MassivArt's 4th instalment of CHROMATIC, a single event showcasing more than 100 artists from different domains! Experience art, sculpture, video and photographic works at this year's venue ; La Fonderie Darling. Station 16 is a proud partner in this year's Chromatic and we'll be on location each night in a different way!

Saturday May 18th (Tickets): Opening night starts at 8pm, get your tickets early HERE. We'll be on location showcasing SIX limited edition silkscreen Chromatic Artist prints chosen by MassivArt.

Sunday May 19th (Free): CHROMATIC JR!!! A day (starting at 12 to 5pm) of art devoted to kids and their parents. Station16 will be doing a live-printing workshop, parents are encouraged to bring blank t-shirts or bags because we'll be printing fun images for free! Kids are welcome to try the process themselves. 

May 20th-21st (Free) : Open to the Public. (11-6pm)

Wednesday May 22nd : (Tickets): Closing party! Art affair night, meet the artists and other art enthusiasts. (5pm - 10pm)

New Stikki Peaches Print & MassivArt Chromatic!

We're excited to present a new print by MTL street artist Stikki Peaches. The new print is titled 'Popeye-Balboa' and is a very limited edition of 16, this 8 colour print is signed, numbered and measures 20x26 inches. Now Avaliable HERE




CHROMATIC is back for it's 4th edition this year, starting on May 18th-22nd at the FONDERIE DARLING (745 Rue Ottawa, MTL). Join us for this weekend of art, Station16 will be displaying and selling prints created and selected by the Massivart team. And on Sunday May 19th, it'sChromatic JR, a day devoted to kids and their parents. We'll be putting on a little silkscreen workshop for children, bring your blank t-shirts, bags, anything you'd like to have your kids screen-print themselves! Course is both in English and French!


TAVA in TO

Antoine Tavaglione's NEW Pop Art show opens May 16th in Toronto and runs through June 27th. Station 16 is thrilled to have produced 12 new limited edition silk screen prints for Tavas first solo art expo in the T.Dot. These prints will not be available online, so if you're in the Toronto neighbourhood check out the show and get your hands on one of these prints. They are extremely limited, signed and numbered.
